Nitrous Oxide in Tajikistan: not individually verified
Also known as: laughing gas, whippets, nangs
We have not confirmed that Nitrous Oxide specifically is scheduled in Tajikistan, so this page gives no legal status. Publishing a guess here would be worse than publishing nothing. What we do know is the governing national drug law, below.
- What is on record
- Not confirmed. Nitrous oxide is not named in the National List approved by Government Resolution No. 121 of 27 February 2020 as the Drug Control Agency published it, read at https://akn.tj/ru/2020/04/09/national-list-of-narcotic-drugs-psychotropic-substances-and-their-precursors/ on 3 October 2026, nor in the Agency's consolidation of the list as amended up to Resolution No. 87 of 2 March 2023, nor in Annex 1 to the Criminal Code in the prg.kz consolidation dated 17 June 2026. The texts were searched in Russian and Latin script for "закись азота", "оксид азота", "азота", "nitrous". Nitrous oxide is not named. So this cell does not say whether nitrous oxide is controlled in Tajikistan.
Confirm directly with Tajikistan’s national drug authority or your own embassy before you rely on anything.
