Capital exposure attaches to trafficking or promotion under Decree-Law 30/2021 (death or life for trafficking/promotion); the methamphetamine-specific capital threshold is left to confirmation.
- Consequences if caught
- Personal possession/use carries imprisonment plus mandatory deportation for non-nationals; trace amounts prosecuted. Trafficking or promotion is death/life-eligible.
- If prescribed or medical
- Theoretically a controlled medicine only; not practically dispensed. Any lawful medical import would require a prior MOHAP/EDE eDrug import permit with attested prescription and medical report.
