Mephedrone (4-MMC) in Macau: not individually verified
Also known as: meow meow
We have not confirmed that Mephedrone (4-MMC) specifically is scheduled in Macau, so this page gives no legal status. Publishing a guess here would be worse than publishing nothing. What we do know is the governing national drug law, below.
- What is on record
- Not confirmed. The Macau 88 substance legal dossier of 2 October 2026 places mephedrone under Law 17/2009 Table II-A item 34, the cathinone derivatives item, quoting its heading «卡西酮的衍生物» (Derivados da Catinona), and reasons that 4-MMC has the ring methyl and N-methyl substitutions described in item 34. The row quotes only the heading of item 34 and not the structural substitution wording that decides whether a molecule falls inside it, so the structural reasoning cannot be checked against the instrument's own words from this record, and the placement is not stated here as an answer. This deferral does not mean that use or supply is lawful.
Confirm directly with Macau’s national drug authority or your own embassy before you rely on anything.
