GBL in Lebanon: not individually verified
Also known as: blue nitro
We have not confirmed that GBL specifically is scheduled in Lebanon, so this page gives no legal status. Publishing a guess here would be worse than publishing nothing. What we do know is the governing national drug law, below.
- What is on record
- Not confirmed. The Lebanese University consolidation note records «GBL(Gamma Butyro Lactone)» as added to Table 1 of the annex to Law 673 of 16 March 1998, in the block headed with the 1971 Convention Schedule II, by Decree 343 of 16 May 2025. That decree was not reached and the Ministry of Public Health consolidated annex, which carries the seventh modification of January 2019, predates it and does not print the entry. Confirm with Lebanon's authorities or your embassy before travel.
Confirm directly with Lebanon’s national drug authority or your own embassy before you rely on anything.
