Is Etizolam legal in Aceh (Indonesia)?
- Legal status
- Etizolam is governed in Aceh by national law as a Psikotropika Golongan II (Law No. 5/1997; Permenkes No. 31/2023, etizolam expressly named); the Qanun Jinayat has no narcotics/psychotropics provisions.
- Consequences if caught
- National-law penalties apply (imprisonment/fine); the Qanun's caning does not reach it. The death penalty is reserved for Narkotika Golongan I under Law No. 35/2009 — etizolam is not death-eligible.
- If prescribed or medical
- Controlled as a Golongan II psychotropic (national law).
- Documentation
- Declare controlled medicines and confirm import rules with BPOM.
