DOM in Kiribati: not individually verified

Also known as: STP

Not individually verified

We have not confirmed that DOM specifically is scheduled in Kiribati, so this page gives no legal status. Publishing a guess here would be worse than publishing nothing. What we do know is the governing national drug law, below.

What is on record
Not confirmed. DOM is named nowhere; the only nearby text is the Poisons List 'Amphetamines' entry, a sale law entry whose bracketed chemical names do not state that it extends to substituted compounds, so its reach to DOM is open and is not read as control. Absence from the schedules read is not a finding that DOM is uncontrolled: the Minister may modify Schedule 2 by order under section 13(2) (page 8), the Secretary may add to the Poisons List by order under section 53(3) of Cap. 70, and no order made under either power was read. The Dangerous Drugs Ordinance was read as in force in the 1977 Revised Edition as amended to the Acts of 1995 and 2001, and this text does not rule out a later amendment or a later order under section 13(2).

Confirm directly with Kiribati’s national drug authority or your own embassy before you rely on anything.
