Legal status
DOM (STP) is a proscribed psychotropic on List F2 of ANVISA Portaria SVS/MS 344/1998 (listed as 2,5-dimetoxi-alfa,4-dimetilfenetilamina), Brazil's transposition of DOM's individual Schedule I listing under the 1971 UN Convention.
Consequences if caught
Trafficking is punished under Art. 33 of Law 11.343/2006 (5-15 years); personal use under Art. 28 attracts non-custodial educational/administrative measures.
If prescribed or medical
List F2: prohibited psychotropic with no medical use; not prescribable.
