Is Crack Cocaine legal in Jordan?

Legal status
Crack is the freebase (base) form of cocaine and has no separate legal identity in Jordan: it is controlled AS cocaine under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act No. 23 of 2016, whose schedule covers cocaine, its salts and preparations and thus reaches the base/freebase form. Crack is prohibited identically to cocaine.
Consequences if caught
Trafficking crack (as cocaine) carries 1-12 years (up to 25 in aggravated cases); possession/personal use draws roughly 3 months to imprisonment plus fines.
If prescribed or medical
Cocaine has no recognised therapeutic use in Jordan; the crack/freebase base has no medicinal preparation and cannot be prescribed.
