We have not confirmed that CBD specifically is scheduled in Tajikistan, so this page gives no legal status. Publishing a guess here would be worse than publishing nothing. What we do know is the governing national drug law, below.

CBD is not named in the National List approved by Government Resolution No. 121 of 27 February 2020 as the Drug Control Agency published it, read at https://akn.tj/ru/2020/04/09/national-list-of-narcotic-drugs-psychotropic-substances-and-their-precursors/ on 3 October 2026, nor in the Agency's consolidation of the list as amended up to Resolution No. 87 of 2 March 2023, nor in Annex 1 to the Criminal Code in the prg.kz consolidation dated 17 June 2026. The texts were searched in Russian and Latin script for "каннабидиол", "cbd". Cannabidiol is not named. The cannabis entry reaches «Растения конопли любого вида, содержащие любой из изомеров тетрогидроканнабинола», cannabis plants of any kind containing any tetrahydrocannabinol isomer, and «Масло каннабиса», so a CBD product made from cannabis that carries tetrahydrocannabinol may be caught as cannabis; the texts read set no tetrahydrocannabinol threshold, so that is not settled here. So this cell does not say whether CBD is controlled in Tajikistan.

Controlled in Tajikistan. The National List approved by Government Resolution No. 121 of 27 February 2020 carries the entry «Каннабис высушенный» (dried cannabis), which the dossier checked on 18 September 2026 matches to cannabis by exact name. The dossier row quotes the entry by its name and does not say in which part of the National List it sits. The offence framework the dossier read with it is Criminal Code arts 200 to 204. The row leaves one point open: how mixture, salt, isomer and preparation rules apply depends on the facts of a case.

Controlled in Tajikistan. Item 26 of Перечень 2, psychotropic substances, of the National List approved by Government Resolution No. 121 of 27 February 2020 is «Тетрагидроканнабинол, следующие изомеры и их стереохимические варианты», described as «6а,7,10,10а-тетрагидро-6,6,9-триметил-3-пентил-6H-дибензо[b,d]пиран-1-ол». Annex 1 to the Criminal Code carries the same entry at row 26 of its Перечень 2 with its sizes. The chemical name quoted is the fourth of the six isomers that entry lists, and it is the chemical name of delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol. Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol is listed separately as «Дронабинол». The 2020 text is the National List as approved. The Drug Control Agency's consolidation names two amending resolutions, No. 507 of 25 November 2021 and No. 87 of 2 March 2023, and zakon.kz, which shares its publisher with prg.kz, gives 2 March 2023 as the last amendment. The text of No. 507 was not read, No. 87 was read only in its opening, and the Agency's consolidation is headed «Проект», so this placement is stated as at the 2020 text and the 2026 annex, and a later amendment is not ruled out.

Controlled compound by compound. The National List approved by Government Resolution No. 121 of 27 February 2020 has no class entry for synthetic cannabinoids; it names dozens of them one at a time in Перечень 2, among them «5F-ADB/5F-MDMB-PINACA» (item 37), «UR-144» (39), «XLR-11» (40), «AM-2201, JWH 2201» (51), «JWH-018, AM-678» (114) and «MDMB-CHMICA» (164). A product is placed when the compound in it is named. A compound that is not named can still be reached as an analogue: articles 200 and 201 of the Criminal Code cover substances «или их аналогов», and article 2 of Law No. 873 defines an analogue as a substance not on the National List «химическая структура и свойства которых сходны с химической структурой и свойствами наркотиков, психоактивное действие которых они воспроизводят». Whether a given unnamed compound meets that test is decided case by case and is not settled here. The 2020 text is the National List as approved. The Drug Control Agency's consolidation names two amending resolutions, No. 507 of 25 November 2021 and No. 87 of 2 March 2023, and zakon.kz, which shares its publisher with prg.kz, gives 2 March 2023 as the last amendment.
