Cannabinol in Ukraine: not individually verified

Also known as: cbn

Not individually verified

We have not confirmed that Cannabinol specifically is scheduled in Ukraine, so this page gives no legal status. Publishing a guess here would be worse than publishing nothing. What we do know is the governing national drug law, below.

What is on record
Not confirmed. Absence record UKR-25 reports that Постанова № 770, таблиці I to IV, consolidated text read on 20 September 2026, was searched for this cannabinoid under its own name and its two letter abbreviation with no printed heading matched, and that the near entry it inspected and rejected was «Канабіс, рослина» at CAS 8063-14-7, the plant heading. Rejecting the plant heading for an isolated molecule is right. The comparison it did not make is the one that matters: the same list prints тетрагідроканабінол at CAS 5957-75-5, so Ukraine does schedule an isolated cannabinoid by name, and whether that heading is drafted to one compound or to a bounded group of cannabinoids was never read. The placement of this oxidation product is open. The absence also rests on a search in the wrong script. The logged terms are "kanabinol", a South Slavic transliteration, and the two letter abbreviation, both Latin, against an annex recorded as printed in Cyrillic. Nothing could have matched, so the untested comparison with the isolated cannabinoid heading is the whole of what this row leaves open.

Confirm directly with Ukraine’s national drug authority or your own embassy before you rely on anything.
