Caffeine in Guatemala: not individually verified
We have not confirmed that Caffeine specifically is scheduled in Guatemala, so this page gives no legal status. Publishing a guess here would be worse than publishing nothing. What we do know is the governing national drug law, below.
- What is on record
- Not confirmed. No xanthine is named in the lists article 2(b) incorporates, and the Código de Salud and the further provisions that article points to were not obtained. Article 39 makes possession for one's own consumption an offence in Guatemala with no personal-use exception, so nothing here is a statement that the substance may be carried or used.
Confirm directly with Guatemala’s national drug authority or your own embassy before you rely on anything.
