Alcohol in Tanzania: not individually verified
Also known as: booze
We have not confirmed that Alcohol specifically is scheduled in Tanzania, so this page gives no legal status. Publishing a guess here would be worse than publishing nothing. What we do know is the governing national drug law, below.
- What is on record
- Not confirmed. The dossier assigns alcohol to the Intoxicating Liquors Act and licensing regime, but the row quotes no clause of that instrument: its quotation column reads 'The separate regime regulates "alcohol" as a beverage, tobacco product or medicine.', a sentence written for the dossier rather than text of the law, so the placement is not established from it.
Confirm directly with Tanzania’s national drug authority or your own embassy before you rely on anything.
