Legal status

Adderall (mixed amphetamine salts) has no separate legal identity — it is regulated AS amphetamine: controlled 1971-Convention psychotropic under the NDLEA Act (Cap. N30).

Consequences if caught

Possession 15–25 years; trafficking/manufacture up to life imprisonment (NDLEA Act s.11). Nigeria does NOT impose the death penalty for drug offences (a 2024 amendment retained life, not death), so there is NO capital exposure.

If prescribed or medical

Prescription stimulant via strictly controlled medical channels; carrying it without a local permit/prescription risks arrest.
