What is on record
Not confirmed. 4-AcO-DMT is not named in any entry of the federal schedules, 21 CFR 1308.11 to 1308.15 as in force on 30 September 2026, the eCFR text read at https://www.ecfr.gov/api/versioner/v1/full/2026-09-30/title-21.xml?part=1308 on 3 October 2026. Psilocybin and psilocyn are Schedule I at 21 CFR 1308.11(d)(29) and (30), DEA codes 7437 and 7438. 4-AcO-DMT is not named. Whether it falls within the psilocyn entry was not settled: the hallucinogens paragraph reaches a listed substance's 'salts, isomers, and salts of isomers' and does not mention esters. The territory's own schedules at 19 V.I.C. sec. 595 could not be read in this run, and the territory can control what the federal schedules do not, so whether it is controlled here is not established.
