4-AcO-DMT in Philippines: not individually verified
Also known as: psilacetin
We have not confirmed that 4-AcO-DMT specifically is scheduled in Philippines, so this page gives no legal status. Publishing a guess here would be worse than publishing nothing. What we do know is the governing national drug law, below.
- What is on record
- Not confirmed. 4-AcO-DMT is not named in the Dangerous Drugs Board's Updated Lists of Scheduled Controlled Substances as at 06 July 2025: searched in all 24 pages, "4-AcO-DMT" 0 hits; "acetoxy" 0 hits. The nearest entries, "DMT" on page 12 and psilocine on page 14, do not include the acetate ester. Section 11 of RA 9165 speaks of "those similarly designed or newly introduced drugs and their derivatives" within its other dangerous drugs limb, and whether that reaches an unlisted analogue was not established, so absence from the list is not treated as an answer. This is stated as at the Board's list of 06 July 2025 and the Board's regulations register read at https://ddb.gov.ph/board-regulations/ on 2 October 2026, whose newest entry is Board Regulation No. 5, Series of 2026 and which lists no Board Regulation No. 1, Series of 2026, and it does not rule out a later amendment.
