2C-T-7 in Thailand: not individually verified
We have not confirmed that 2C-T-7 specifically is scheduled in Thailand, so this page gives no legal status. Publishing a guess here would be worse than publishing nothing. What we do know is the governing national drug law, below.
- What is on record
- Not confirmed for 2C-T-7. As in force on 3 October 2026, 2C-T-7, PubChem CID 24728635, "2-(2,5-dimethoxy-4-propylsulfanylphenyl)ethanamine", is not named in any Thai naming notification read, and the nearest listed molecule is a positional isomer rather than the same compound. The search ran on 3 October 2026, in Thai, in Latin script and by chemical name, through every Ministry of Public Health naming notification the Thai FDA Narcotics Control Division publishes under the Narcotics Code B.E. 2564: narcotic Category 1 of B.E. 2565 as amended up to No. 5 B.E. 2568, narcotic Category 2, narcotic Category 4 of B.E. 2566 as amended up to No. 3 B.E. 2568, narcotic Category 5, and psychotropic Categories 1 to 4 of B.E. 2565, Category 1 as amended up to No. 5 B.E. 2569. Item 35 of the psychotropic Category 1 list covers mescaline and "อนุพันธ์ของเมสคาลีน (mescaline derivatives) ที่มีฤทธิ์เหมือนเมสคาลีน", an open class introduced by "เช่น", such as, and closed by "ฯลฯ", and so on, and its ninth worked example, item 35.9, is "๔-ไทโอโพรสคาลีน หรือ ๔-ทีพี (4-thioproscaline หรือ 4-TP)", "2-(3,5-dimethoxy-4-(propylthio)phenyl)ethanamine". That has the same atoms as 2C-T-7 with the two methoxy groups at 3 and 5 instead of 2 and 5. Clause 2 of the notification extends an entry to other names for the same chemical structure and to stereoisomers, and a positional isomer is neither. Whether 2C-T-7 is itself a mescaline derivative under item 35 is not answered by the text, and the narcotic Category 1 list names 2CB and 2CD one by one at items 17 and 18, which points against reading the 2C series into item 35. This is not a finding that 2C-T-7 is uncontrolled in Thailand.
