25I-NBOMe in Samoa: not individually verified
Also known as: n-bomb
We have not confirmed that 25I-NBOMe specifically is scheduled in Samoa, so this page gives no legal status. Publishing a guess here would be worse than publishing nothing. What we do know is the governing national drug law, below.
- What is on record
- Not confirmed. 25I-NBOMe is not named, by that name or by its chemical name (2-(4-iodo-2,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-N-(2-methoxybenzyl)ethanamine), anywhere in the Narcotics Act 1967 (official version as at 31 December 2023). The nearest related entries are MESCALINE (First Schedule item 19) and DOB (First Schedule item 11, also known as bromo-DMA); neither shares 25I-NBOMe's N-benzyl substitution or its iodine atom, so neither is an isomer of it in the ordinary chemical sense, and the First Schedule's isomer, ester, ether, salt and proportion clauses (B to E) do not reach a compound built by adding a separate benzyl-methoxy group onto a 2C-type phenethylamine. No NBOMe-class generic or analogue provision was located anywhere in the Act, and no Poisons Act 1968 classification was located.
Confirm directly with Samoa’s national drug authority or your own embassy before you rely on anything.
