2-FDCK in Samoa: not individually verified
Also known as: 2-fluoroketamine
We have not confirmed that 2-FDCK specifically is scheduled in Samoa, so this page gives no legal status. Publishing a guess here would be worse than publishing nothing. What we do know is the governing national drug law, below.
- What is on record
- Not confirmed. 2-FDCK (2-fluorodeschloroketamine) is not named in the First, Second or Third Schedule (Class A, B or C narcotics respectively) to the Narcotics Act 1967, the official version as at 31 December 2023. A case insensitive search of the full cached text of the Act, including the chemical and common name terms "2-FDCK", "2-fluorodeschloroketamine" and "2-fluoroketamine", returned no match in any Schedule. The Fourth Schedule, controlled precursors, also does not name it. 2-FDCK is a ring substituted analogue of ketamine, and ketamine itself was separately searched for and is also not named anywhere in the Act; the Act has no scheduled parent compound for 2-FDCK to be caught as an isomer, ester, ether or salt of under the Schedules' own extension clauses. The Narcotics Act 1967 (1967 No. 3), the official version as at 31 December 2023, is the authority for the position stated. Whether a later Gazette amendment or a Head of State Order under section 5 of the Act has varied it since that date could not be established from the sources searched this session, so the position given is as at the version read and is not asserted as current beyond it.
