2-FDCK in Bangladesh: not individually verified
Also known as: 2-fluoroketamine
We have not confirmed that 2-FDCK specifically is scheduled in Bangladesh, so this page gives no legal status. Publishing a guess here would be worse than publishing nothing. What we do know is the governing national drug law, below.
- What is on record
- Not confirmed for Bangladesh. 2-FDCK is named nowhere in the First Schedule. Ketamine is, in Class 'ka' at serial 4, and 2-FDCK is its fluorinated analogue. Searched, on 2026-09-17: the full First Schedule as printed in the Bangladesh Gazette of 14 November 2018, all three classes and every serial, for this substance's name, its synonyms and its abbreviations; the consolidated Act on bdlaws for the same terms; both amending Acts for a schedule amendment, finding none; and the Department of Narcotics Control's own list of laws, which carries ten instruments and no schedule amendment. The name is not there. What is left is Class 'ka' serial 7, which reaches an «অ্যানালগ», and section 2(3) defines one as «তপশিলের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয় নাই এইরূপ বস্তু, যাহার রাসায়নিক সংগঠন তপশিলের অন্তর্গত কোনো মাদকের রাসায়নিক সংগঠনের অনুরূপ এবং যাহার আসক্তি সৃষ্টিকারী মনোদৈহিক কার্যক্রম একই রকম», a substance not in the schedule whose chemical composition resembles a scheduled narcotic's and whose addiction-forming psychoactive action is the same. That is a judgment about resemblance and effect, not a fact on the face of the schedule, and no Bangladeshi decision applying section 2(3) to this substance was found. The status is therefore not confirmed. Treat it as controlled and assume a court would apply the analogue clause.
